We launch them on their way to personal and professional success by offering an exceptional student experience that combines a rigorous curriculum with optimized experiential learning opportunities and meaningful faculty and staff attention.

Student Support

Thanks to private support from alumni like you, we are able to keep the Wisconsin School of Business accessible to all students, attract the very best and continue to innovate. Philanthropy also helps finance more than 70 business-based student organizations, which offer students the chance to learn and network with professionals, and provides significant funding for life changing experiences.

Faculty Excellence

Philanthropic support allows us to recruit and retain top-notch faculty who are often courted by other prominent schools. This fall, we welcomed another 12 new faculty members, each of whom has a commitment to focused research excellence and to delivering premium learning experiences for our students. In 2013, millions were spent to support faculty research endeavors and create practical knowledge that companies, leaders and alumni are taking into industry to advance business.

The Wisconsin School of Business is a top public research university with thought leaders who produce research with enduring impact, like Tom O'Guinn.

Educational Innovation

Alumni support helps develop educational tools and curriculum to ensure that students achieve professional success. These include an increase in the number of applied learning experiences and the amount of time students spend working hand-in-hand with top faculty members. Philanthropy is also key to making innovative partnerships that leverage UW research and unleash creativity across UW-Madison. They also create interdisciplinary opportunities for all students and foster an environment where unique entrepreneurial ideas can thrive.
